Region 4 trio finish among nation's best in Ron Case Cup

LAS VEGAS, NEV. - Three Region 4 schools finished the 2025-26 athletic year ranking in the top ten of the National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators' (NATYCAA) Ron Case Cup presented by Daktronics. The College of DuPage and Joliet Junior College each earned second place in the NJCAA Scholarship Division and NJCAA Non-Scholarship Divisions, respectively. Harper College was sixth in the non-scholarship.

DuPage racked up 167.5 points to sit behind Iowa Western Community College with 179.0 points. The Chaparrals secured five national championships during the year, bringing home titles in football, women's cross country, women's golf, and men's and women's track & field. Joliet's second consecutive national runner-up also marked the school's third straight top-four finish. The Wolves saw seven teams - men's soccer, men's basketball, softball, men's and women's cross country, and men's and women's track & field - compete in their respective national tournaments, highlighted by a pair of third place finishes in softball and women's track & field. RCSJ-Gloucester County won the non-scholarship title with 140.0 points, narrowly getting past JJC at 134.5 points. Harper College finished with 69.0 points. (Story: Joliet)

With the three divisions removed, the overall Learfield Directors' Cup Top 10 saw the College of DuPage tied for third with Barton County, and Joliet Junior College in tenth. The overall winner was Mt. San Antonio College with 186.0 points after they claimed the State Associations Division.
