MADISON, WISC. - Madison College's run of dominance over the Region 4 Division II Tournament continued for yet another year in 2026 with the program's eight straight championship. The top-seeded WolfPack extended their impressive run with a 10-4 victory over #7-seed Bryant & Stratton College in the title game to claim their 14th title since 2010. The WolfPack began postseason play with three wins in the Region 4 Sectional Tournament, which opened with a scare as they needed 12 innings to get by #8-seeded Highland Community College 8-7. The recovered to run-rule #12 Moraine Valley Community College 12-1 in six innings and then 11-1 in five innings over the Cougars to advance.

In the Region 4 Tournament, Madison College used a five-run sixth inning to propel themselves past BSC 10-2 in the quarterfinals. In a rematch of the 2025 championship game, the WolfPack again plated multiple runs in the sixth inning en route to a 3-2 victory over #4-seeded Kankakee Community College behind 11 strikeouts by pitcher Noah Marschke. In the title game, the Pack scored three runs in the first inning and racked up five more runs in the fourth before settling for a 10-4 win over the Bobcats. ENID, OKLA. - Madison College extended their NJCAA record for consecutive appearances with their eighth straight trip to the NJCAA Division II World Series where they earned the #3 seed and a first round bye. In a second round clash with #6 Jones College, starter Noah Marschke locked up the opposing bats over seven-plus innings with two earned runs. Both teams scored a run in the first before the WolfPack added three more in the third and one in the fourth. The differential sat at 5-2 in the eighth when the Pack again posted three runs in an inning en route to an 8-4 victory. Braylen White had four hits and scored three runs, while Nate Novinska drove in four runs.

The quarterfinals brought a rematch of the 2022 championship series as Madison College took on #2-seeded Pearl River Community College. The WolfPack again struck early with two runs in the first, and after giving up a run in the third, pushed the advantage to 4-1 in the fourth with two more runs. Starter Broden Jackson struck out nine batters over his seven-plus innings; however, PRCC got to him with a two-run homer in the eighth before he exited the game. A solo home run by the next batter tied the game heading to the ninth inning. In the bottom half, the Bobcats walked off with a 6-4 win two-run homer, sending the WolfPack to the consolation bracket and an elimination game rematch with #7 Iowa Central Community College one year after the Tritons ended the Pack's season. Unfortunately, the same fate played out as the ICCC bats were hot early with eight runs in the first three innings that led to a 15-6 decision in eight innings. Madison College finished 46-12 on the season.
