The Chaparrals placed three individuals in the top 18 to earn NJCAA All-American status. At the NJCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships at Swan Lake Resort, Black Hawk College placed tied for eighth and Bryant &amp; Stratton College's Marquez Angeles tied for third overall.</description>

      <description>BYRON, ILL. - You can count on one hand the number of times Black Hawk College has not been the Region 4 champion over the last two decades. The Braves added another in 2026 as they completed a three-peat by claiming the Region 4 Division II Men's Golf Tournament championship for the 17th time since 2006 after competing at PrairieView Golf Club from April 26-28. Black Hawk posted a three-day total of 905 to finish 18 shots in front of runner-up Highland Community College. Freshman Marquez Angeles of Bryant &amp; Stratton College secured the Region 4 Golfer of the Year with a three-over-par 219. Shayne Shepherd of BHC was awarded Region 4 Coach of the Year.</description>

The Chaparrals won their seventh consecutive region crown with a 621 team score over the two-day event, resulting in a 25th region title overall and 14th under head coach Jason Hyatt, who earned yet another Region 4 Coach of the Year award. Sophomore Nathan Kwiatkowski was the 2026 Region 4 Golfer of the Year with a 36-hole total of five-over-par 149.</description>

The Braves snapped a three-year run without a championship by taking the 2024 NJCAA Region 4 Division II Men's Golf Tournament on April 28-30 at PrairieView Golf Club. Led by medalist Mason Steinert, BHC posted a three-day total of 945 to hold off a late charge from runner-up Madison College with a 955. Steinert shot nine-over-par 225 for the tournament to earn Region 4 Golfer of the Year, while Shayne Shepherd was named Region 4 Coach of the Year.</description>

      <description>BYRON, ILL. - Four teams were in contention for the 2022 NJCAA Region 4 Division II Men's Golf Championship, and when all 54 holes were completed, Highland Community College had earned its first region title since 2002. The Cougars finished with a 936 team total, two strokes better than Alexandria Technical &amp; Community College (MN) at 938. Sophomore Riku Moriyama successfully defended his 2021 Region 4 title with a five-shot victory to finish as medalist again.</description>

      <description>The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has released its list of All-Americans for the 2021-22 spring sports season, and 43 student-athletes representing Region 4 were recognized. The group includes 11 from women's track &amp; field, ten from men's track &amp; field and softball, eight from baseball, three from men's golf, and one from men's tennis. There are 20 first team recipients, 15 second team honoree, seven third team selections, and 11 honorable mention distinctions. The student-athletes represent ten Region 4 institutions.</description>

      <description>It was an unbelievable spring to be wearing Forest Green around Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The College of DuPage, which already claimed a football national championship back in the fall, capped the 2021-22 athletic calendar with a quartet of national tournament qualifiers and two more championship banners. The men's and women's track programs both successfully defended their 2021 national titles with first place finishes at the NJCAA Division III Men's &amp; Women's Outdoor Track &amp; Field Championships in Troy, New York, from May 12-14, marking the third time in school history they have won championships in the same year. In addition, the Chaparrals' men's golf team finished third at the NJCAA Division III Golf Championships in Chautauqua, New York, from June 7-10, and the COD men's tennis squad generated a fourth-place finish at the NJCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championships in Oxford, Georgia, from May 13-15.</description>
