Dynasty continues as DuPage collects sixth consecutive NJCAA championship

UTICA, N.Y. - The College of DuPage remains atop the mountain in junior college track & field after winning their sixth straight - and tenth overall - NJCAA Division III Outdoor Men's Track & Field Championship. The Chaparrals, who also claimed the women's national title in 2026, posted 167.0 points to win by 58 points over Hudson Valley Community College. Region 4 was also represented by Harper College in third place with 105.5 points, Joliet Junior College in fifth with 66.5 points, and Triton College with six points. Mallory Dominguez was named NJCAA Coach of the Year. 2026 NJCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships Final Results

DuPage stood atop the podium in five events, including three field events and two relays. Sophomore William Kallas was first in pole vault, freshman Dionte Shaw won gold in the discus, and Jai'shawn Morris was tops in shot put. Meanwhile, the 4x100m relay team of Peter Ogunleye, Jaylin Miller, Owen Fitzgerald, and Kevin Myrick and the 4x800m relay squad of Jacob Skibbie, Matthew Wick, Jack Schultz, and Royce Krush all ran to gold medal finishes. Additionally, COD secured runner-up finishes in three events and third place results in six others.

Harper College was led by a national title effort from freshman Jake Cody in the hammer throw. The Hawks also posted six second place results and one third place finish. Joliet Junior College racked up two national titles with sophomore Vince Demma in the 400m and Tye Morgan, Caleb Kies, Keaton Stroner, and Demma in the 4x400m relay. The Wolves added one runner-up and one third place finish.
