      <title>Madison, Sauk Valley return to top of Region 4</title>

      <description>MADISON, WISC. - Two championship droughts of differing lengths were ended in 2025 with Madison College and Sauk Valley Community College winning their respective districts in the Region 4 Division II Women's Volleyball Tournament. The top-seeded WolfPack swept #4-seeded Harper College 3-0 to win their first region title in a decade - and first in Division II - while the #3-seeded Skyhawks ran through #2-seeded Morton College 3-0 to claim their second banner in three years. Mallory Stone of Madison College and Jay Howell of SVCC were awarded Region 4 Coach of the Year honors.</description>

      <title>Olive-Harvey goes back-to-back as Region 4 champs</title>

      <description>CHICAGO, ILL. - Apparently one was not enough for the Olive-Harvey College Panthers, who made it two straight region crowns as they swept Malcolm X College 3-0 to win the 2025 Region 4 Division I Women's Volleyball Tournament just one year after winning the first region title in school history. Much like in 2024, Olive-Harvey did not drop a set in the tournament. Head coach Rakecia Jenkins was named the Region 4 Coach of the Year.</description>

The Chaparrals earned set wins of 25-22, 25-23, 25-13 and head coach Tolis Koskinaris was named Region 4 Coach of the Year. </description>

There are 11 first team recipients, 16 second team honorees, four third team selections, and ten honorable mention distinctions. The Wolves led two-sets-to-none before COD turned the match around to claim their second title in the last three years. Tolis Koskinaris was awarded the Region 4 Coach of the Year.</description>

For both teams, it was their first region banner since 2021, and in the case of the Golden Eagles, their first in Division II. Despite missing All-Region setter Rachelle Cauinian, the Hawks completed a resounding win by scores of 25-5, 25-7, 25-4. The win featured 27 services aces, led by nine from Alejandra Martinez. Nataly Delgado was tops with five kills. John McEleney was named Region 4 Coach of the Year.</description>

      <description>PALATINE, ILL. - The Harper College women's volleyball used a dramatic come-from-behind 3-2 win over the College of DuPage to return to the top of the Region 4 mountain with its first NJCAA Region 4 Division III Tournament title since 2019. The top-seeded Hawks got past the defending national champion and #2-seeded Chaparrals with a 25-17, 20-25, 10-25, 25-19, 15-10 decision on their home floor on October 25. Abby Major, Eden Suh, and Taylor Knuth led Harper College and were named to the 2023 Region 4 Division III All-Tournament Team, while Bob Viloset was was awarded the Region 4 Coach of the Year.</description>
